EXY – Professional rotary pen for PMU and microblading

The EXY tattoo machine is designed for professional permanent makeup and delivers stable, precise pigment implantation across a wide spectrum of techniques. The ergonomic pen grip and light weight reduce hand strain during long treatment sessions – essential when working with detail-oriented techniques such as powder brows, ombré brows, lips, and eyeliner. The machine also supports microneedling, making it a flexible tool in a modern PMU salon.

Speed and precision

EXY offers nine precisely calibrated speed levels between 3,600 and 7,000 RPM. You select the level directly on the pen, without complex adapters or external controls. Below are the RPM per level:

1. 3,600 RPM
2. 4,050 RPM
3. 4,400 RPM
4. 4,700 RPM
5. 5,100 RPM
6. 5,500 RPM
7. 6,000 RPM
8. 6,400 RPM
9. 7,000 RPM

Lower RPM levels (3,600–4,700) are well-suited for sensitive areas such as the upper eyelids and fine-line techniques. Higher levels (5,500–7,000) provide better flow for dense powder shading and lip blush. Always adjust the speed according to skin type and needle configuration.

Powder and ombré brows

EXY is particularly popular among PMU technicians working with powder brows and ombré brows. The smooth motor flow provides consistent pigment implantation without jolts, which simplifies the graduation from light to dark in ombré techniques.

Lips and lip blush

The light weight and slim pen design provide excellent control along the curves of the lip line. Combine with a suitable 1RL or 3RL needle for precise contours and soft color transitions in lip blush treatments.

Permanent eyeliner

Permanent eyeliner requires a steady hand and precise needle guidance. The EXY pen design minimizes vibrations, which facilitates straight and symmetrical lines close to the eye.

Microblading and microneedling

EXY also supports microblading techniques with compatible needle cartridges, as well as microneedling treatments. Set the appropriate speed and needle depth according to the manufacturer's guidelines for the specific treatment area. Always use approved disposable cartridges.

Care and maintenance

Wipe the handpiece with a suitable disinfectant wipe after each treatment. Never sterilize the machine in an autoclave – it cannot withstand heat or pressure sterilization. The needles are for single use only and must be disposed of immediately after use in accordance with current hygiene regulations for sharps waste. Store the machine in a dry, protected place in its case when not in use.
