Privacy Policy (GDPR) and cookies

Your privacy is important to us. We want you to feel secure with us. That is why we at Bellestore.se take care to comply with applicable data protection legislation, e.g. the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which replaced the Personal Data Act (PUL) on May 25, 2018.

This entails a common set of regulations within the EU and strengthens the rights of citizens (customers), among other things regarding how personal data is used. The General Data Protection Regulation places great demands on the documentation of how personal data is lawfully used and that organizations ensure secure handling of personal data; that is, the amount of personal data collected, the scope of processing, and the time for its storage and accessibility.

Below, we would like to inform you about the purposes for which we collect and use your personal data and how you can exercise your rights.

The personal data we use are Name, Phone number, E-mail address, IP address, Customer number, and Personal identity number. • Retrieving your registered address with the help of an external party, Klarna.

  • Handling complaint cases. Storage period: Until the purchase has been completed, including delivery and payment, and for a period of 36 months thereafter, in order to be able to handle any potential complaint cases. Card numbers are, however, never saved.

2. Marketing of our products and services via e-mail, campaigns, and newsletters

  • Communicating with you and answering your questions via telephone, chat, e-mail, or social media.

  • Investigating complaints and support cases, including technical support.

Storage period: 36 months after the case is closed and as long as the right to complain applies.

4. Handling your use of our warranties and various services, such as options e.g. home delivery, carrying in, evening delivery, etc.

  • Service providers within credit assessment, debt collection, and dialogue marketing.

  • Authorities, where applicable, e.g. the Police or the Swedish Tax Agency.

To the greatest extent possible, we ensure that we process your personal data within Sweden, and all our own systems and servers are located within the country. However, we collaborate with a number of parties whose systems are located outside the EU, for example, our e-mail system. Your personal data is only disclosed to a country outside the EU/EEA if we can ensure that there are sufficient guarantees for correct and adequate processing.

7. Tracking of shipment

When you shop in our webshop and accept our terms of purchase, your e-mail address will be forwarded to a distributor so that you have the opportunity to track your shipment. Which cookies do we use?

Necessary

These cookies are necessary for the basic functions of the website; without these cookies, we cannot guarantee that the website works as it should.

Statistics

These cookies are anonymous and are used to analyze and remember which choices you have made and how you as a visitor use our website. With their help, we can also monitor the website's performance and identify and handle any problems as efficiently as possible.

Marketing

We also use third-party cookies for marketing purposes so that we can show you our advertisements (only our own) on other relevant websites that you visit. We may use advertising techniques from external suppliers to find out how effective the online ads we place on our own and others' websites are.

We use external platforms such as Facebook and Google Marketing Platform.

In Google Marketing Platform, we manage our marketing campaigns such as paid keywords or display advertising. The cookies that the platform places have two purposes: to analyze and to personalize ads. These cookies will not increase the amount of ads you see, but will only make them more relevant to you.
