Product information
Primer 15ml from XLNT Lashes is a professional pre-treatment agent that optimizes adhesion between the glue and the natural lashes. By removing oil, dirt, and residue from skincare products, it creates a clean and dry surface, providing the lash extensions with longer durability and a more even final result. The primer is a favorite among experienced lash artists who want to ensure professional results even on challenging client types.
Why you should use Primer
Natural lashes can have a film of sebum, makeup, or color residue that prevents the glue from adhering properly. Primer dissolves these residues and simultaneously dehydrates the lash, making extensions hold better — especially on clients with oilier skin or after a lash tint. The result is a lash extension that lasts longer between fills and looks fresher over time. Feel free to combine the primer with a mild cleanser for the best results.
When primer is recommended
- On clients with oily or combination skin where extensions tend to fall off quickly
- Immediately after the natural lashes have been tinted
- When the client uses oil-based skincare products around the eyes
- In hot and humid climate conditions where the glue is challenged
- When switching glue types where you want to maximize adhesion from the start
Do not use primer routinely on all clients — it is only needed when the lash requires extra pre-treatment. For dry lashes, a standard cleaning is usually sufficient. Feel free to see our other lash supplies for a complete workflow.
How to use Primer 15ml
First, clean the lashes thoroughly with a lash shampoo and let them dry completely. Dip a microbrush lightly into the primer and stroke gently along the natural lashes from base to tip. Use sparingly — a small amount goes a long way. Let the primer air dry for about 30–60 seconds before applying glue and extensions. Avoid contact with the skin and eyelids during application.
Storage and shelf life
Store in a cool, dry place with the cap tightly closed to maintain the product's effectiveness. Shake lightly before use. An opened bottle lasts approximately 6 months. Close the cap immediately after use to avoid the product evaporating or deteriorating.
