Practice pad for professional lash training
A well-constructed practice pad is the foundation for effective technique training in eyelash extensions. With a stable and realistically shaped surface, you can practice placement, angling, and isolation of classic and volume lashes under controlled conditions – without needing to work on a client. The result is faster learning and more confident hands when it counts at the salon.
Product description
The practice pad is made of matte white plastic and molded with a realistic facial relief, including natural-sized eye areas. This ensures you are training on a surface that mimics the real-life work position as closely as possible. The pad is designed as a 3-in-1 solution and is suitable for practicing both classic lash extensions and volume techniques.
- Molded facial relief with natural eye contours
- Matte surface that does not reflect light during training
- Built-in glue cups for placing glue drops directly on the pad
- Included protective lid to preserve practice lashes between training sessions
- Suitable for classic and volume lashes
Please note: No false lashes are included with the pad. Lashes and glue are ordered separately – see our range under Accessories for eyelash extensions.
How to use the practice pad
- Place the pad on a flat, stable work surface at the correct working height.
- Attach double-sided tape under the pad if you want to prevent it from sliding.
- Attach a strip of practice lashes along the eye line on the pad.
- Place a drop of glue in the glue cup and start practicing application, isolation, and lash placement.
- Put on the included lid after finishing your training session to protect the practice lashes from dust and moisture.
Tips for effective training
Start by practicing basic isolation – this is the technique that takes the longest to master and has the greatest impact on the final result for the client. Work with the correct tweezers and angle from the start so that muscle memory is built up correctly. Replace the practice lashes regularly; old or deformed lashes do not provide a fair representation of how the material behaves in real-world use.
Train consistently in short sessions of 20–30 minutes rather than long sessions with declining concentration. Focus on one step at a time – for example, only fanning volume lashes or only placement angles – before combining the steps.
Suitable for
- Newly trained lash stylists building up their basic technique
- Experienced stylists testing new lash techniques or products
- Educators who want to provide course participants with consistent practice material
