The Natural Brown marking pencil is designed for professional use when mapping eyebrows for microblading, PMU, and similar treatments. The natural brown shade blends with the skin's undertones, providing a clear yet natural contour that is easy to adjust before you begin pigmenting. With the right tip, you can achieve precise, thin lines that follow the natural shape of the brow arch.

Pencil construction and sharpening

The pencil is paper-wrapped and sharpened with a razor blade to provide a sharp, controlled tip – never use a standard pencil sharpener, as this risks breaking the core. Gently pull the string along the side of the pencil to gradually unwrap and expose more of the wax core as it wears down. This technique allows for a consistent tip size throughout your work and minimizes material waste.

The wax-based core ensures the line stays in place without smudging, even on slightly oily skin. The pigmentation is strong enough to remain clearly visible during the treatment but can be wiped away with a cotton pad dampened with micellar water or alcohol if needed before pigmenting begins.

Technique and use

Draw symmetry lines, reference points, and the final brow shape directly onto the skin using light strokes. Check the symmetry from a distance before approving the template – it is easier to adjust a guide line than to correct healed pigment. Natural Brown is particularly well-suited for clients with light to medium-brown hair, where a dark brown or black pencil would create too much contrast.

The pencil is suitable for all techniques requiring a clear pre-treatment template: microblading, nano-brows, ombre-brows, and classic PMU. Feel free to combine with a ruler or measuring tool for precise symmetry mapping.

Storage and longevity

Store the pencil upright with the tip facing up at room temperature, protected from direct sunlight and high heat, which can soften the wax core. When stored correctly, an unused pencil will last a long time. Lightly clean the tip with a dry tissue between clients for optimal hygiene.
