Marker Pen Black – for precise eyebrow mapping
A well-defined template is the foundation for a successful result in microblading, PMU, and brow mapping. Marker Pen Black is a paper-wrapped wax pencil with intensely black pigment that provides clear, controlled lines directly on the skin. The fine tip makes it easy to mark hair by hair and work with high precision – whether you are drawing symmetry lines, eyebrow contours, or reference points.
Product features
- Pigmentation: Intensely black color that remains clearly visible on the skin throughout the treatment.
- Tip design: Paper-wrapped construction is sharpened with a razor blade for an extremely thin and sharp tip.
- Skin-friendly formula: Wax-based and developed for use directly on the skin in professional environments.
- Durability: The color stays in place during the treatment without smudging upon light touch.
How to sharpen the pen correctly
Marker Pen Black is paper-wrapped and should not be sharpened with a regular pencil sharpener – this will ruin the pen. Instead, gently pull the outer paper wrapping to expose more of the wax core, and then carefully shape the tip with a razor blade. The result is a tip that is sharper and more controllable than what a standard sharpener can achieve. Razor blades for this purpose are available in our range of accessories for microblading and PMU.
Areas of application
The pen is suitable for all techniques involving permanent and semi-permanent eyebrow treatments:
- Microblading – draw templates and symmetry lines before the procedure
- PMU eyebrows – mark frames and reference points
- Brow mapping – measure and draw golden ratio proportions directly on the client
- Lamination – define the shape and direction of the eyebrow hairs
Tips for best results
Clean the skin thoroughly and remove any excess skincare products or oils before drawing the template. A dry and clean skin surface provides the best grip for the marking. Check the symmetry from a distance of at least 50 cm and photograph the template with the client's head in a neutral position before starting the treatment. Adjust lines with a cotton swab and a little cleanser if necessary – the wax pigment is easy to correct without leaving residue.
Storage and durability
Store the pen with the protective cap on at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and heat. Avoid placing the pen in direct contact with alcohol-based products when not in use, as this can affect the wax formula. When stored correctly, the pen lasts a long time and delivers consistent tip quality throughout its lifespan.
